Simplistic Thinking causes a Tragedy
Luigi Mangione is suspected of murder in the killing of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson. He said “I do apologized for any strife or traumas, but it had to be done.” He appeared in court on Monday and pleaded not guilty to murder and terrorism charges in New York state. I know that he is supported and seen as a folk hero by some for anti-healthcare industry stance. I think his thinking is too simplistic. In Japan, the second to last Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe was killed by a man who developed a grudge to the Unification Church that Abe was linked to. That murder case was also caused by simplistic thinking.
