The LA Fires are Burning Everything
The news said that the LA fires have devastated one of the most coveted and prized neighborhoods in the city. All that remains is a jumble of burned-out bathtubs and appliances. The news anchor said the scale of the destruction is hard to comprehend. Fortunately, there aren’t so many fatalities. However, the survivors fear insurance will not cover rebuilding costs. Many insurance companies declined fire coverage insurance in their LA because of the recent increase in natural disasters. I wonder if people will be able to rebuild their houses.
